Is the coming of the Lord near? Must any signs take place before he can return? Must God's people go through the Tribulation before Christ can return? These are important questions dealt with in this course. But we will mainly focus on the real message of these two Pauline epistles by showing how we need to be ready with prepared lives, with a prepared church here and now for our lives today.

This course will study the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith with particular attention given to the basic doctrines of God and Trinity, revelation and Scriptures, creation and providence, the fall and sin, the Person and work of the Holy Spirit, the doctrine of last things, death and resurrection, the final judgment, heaven and hell. The significant issues of each doctrine are discussed, taking care to demonstrate that the Scriptures are the only true source of theology.
BC301 Intro. to Biblical Counseling I & II – 2 Credits (Th. 7pm-9pm) – Required

Does the Bible have the correct answers for today’s problems? This course is a beginning biblical approach to solving life’s problems. You will learn a beginning working knowledge for making Biblical plans to overcome sin and then help others to live a fruitful and victorious life as a Christian. You will be taught (a) self-confrontation to bring personal change, and (b) become better equipped to help others. Such topics as forgiveness, restoration, self, relationships, marriage, divorce, children, anger, bitterness, and life-dominating sin will be covered.

This course is a series of lectures given on a weekly basis on “Principles of Ministry” by the instructor with weekly guest pastors from the Horizons and Calvary Chapels in Indiana and its surrounding states coming to share their wisdom, insight and experience into the working of the ministry.

Do you struggle with how to respond to people of different faiths? We will study the history and origin of the major cults and religions and the subsequent influence they have in the church today. Emphasis will be on how to respond to these different groups and how to guide them to the truth of Christ.

This course is an over view study through the twelve Books of the Old Testament known as the Minor Prophets, Hosea through Malachi. Emphasis will be given to the historical setting of each author and the message conveyed in his writing, particularly the eschatological and Christological aspects of that message.

Are the Ten Commandments and God’s laws that were given to Moses and the Jews relevant for today’s church? Does the church replace Israel as God’s chosen people? This course will tackle these and many more questions while taking a look at the deliverance of the children of Israel from bondage in Egypt, and their establishment as God's covenant people.

Can you see the signs that are in our world today? This course will be a verse-by-verse study through the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The course will be studied from a pre-millennial, pre-tribulational point of view. Emphasis will be on the sequence of prophetic events and the consummation of this age.

How do you go forward with evangelism and widen the circle of faith so that it includes more and more people who have transformingly trusted Christ as Savior?It was not with programs to reach the multitudes, but with whom the multitudes could follow was Jesus’ method of winning the world to God and you are a part of that strategy today. This course will be a verse-by-verse study through the entire Gospel of Mark with emphasis on Jesus’ evangelistic strategy.

CM199 Practical Christian Ministry – 1 Credit (Wed. 8:30am-12:00pm) – Required
Students will put into application what they are learning in the class each week in local community. Students serve with assisted living home, juvenile detention center, homeless shelter, street evangelism and churches. Each second-year student will have the opportunity to choose, plan, and lead a Practical Ministry Day to help develop administrative and leadership abilities.
Old & New Testament MP3 Survey – 3 Credits (Th. 8:30am-8:55am) – Required
This course is a verse-by-verse study of the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. It is an audio course in MP3 format taught by Chuck Smith. This survey of the Bible is taken in four parts/semesters totaling 12 credits.

This course will assist you in changing the way you handle your money. Topics include: getting out of debt, spending, saving, investing, budgeting, giving, earning money and training children. On average, graduates of the study are reducing their personal debt, increasing their personal savings and giving, strengthening marriages and devoting more time to prayer and Bible Study.

CM199 Practical Christian Ministry – 1 Credit (Wed. 8:30am-12:00pm) -Required
Students will put to application what they are learning in the class by providing service to the Bible College, church, school, audio-visual, campus cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, local community service & evangelism. Each second-year student will have the opportunity to choose, plan, and lead a Practical Ministry day of their choice. This will develop administrative and leadership skills.

BC305 Biblical Counseling Part III: Nouthetic Counseling – 2 Credits -Emphasis

This class will continue to build on the principles of the Biblical Counseling Foundation class. Any counseling which moves Christ from its centrality ceases to be Christian and life changing. Based on God’s Word being more than adequate to guide one through life’s trials, we will develop a Biblical counseling plan. We will then apply this plan to specific counseling issues, i.e. depression, addictions, marriage counseling, etc. The purpose is to provide the student with the tools and practice necessary to help people whether in a formal or an informal counseling environment to offer hope and victory over life’ struggles.

In this course we will be examining some of the foundational aspects of Biblical eschatology. We will be considering areas such as, but not limited to; methods of interpreting prophecy, the Abrahamic, Palestinian, Davidic, and New covenants and their relationship to prophecy, the various rapture positions; pre-, post-, mid-, and part-, the various millennial views; spiritualized, post-, pre-, and a-millennial, the Church, Israel, and the Gentiles and their relationship to the Second Coming, the resurrections and judgments associated with the Second Coming, and an in-depth look at the “70 Weeks” of Daniel 9.
TH417 Inductive Bible Study – 2 Credits -Required

This course is designed to teach students to dig into the Word of God in order to observe, correlate, interpret, and apply. In addition to understanding the biblical text, we will also learn how to verbally communicate the Word to others.
TH365 Apologetic Evangelism – 2 Credits -Required
Are you frustrated when sharing your faith? This course will equip you to better share your faith, answer questions about the Bible and Christianity. Topics included will be the existence of God, historical evidence for Christianity, and the reliability of the Scriptures. Moreover, the role of faith, reason, and the Holy Spirit will be explored as it pertains to evangelizing non-Christians.

CH301 Church History – 2 Credits -Required

In this course we will examine the history of the church from its beginnings at Pentecost up to the time of the Protestant Reformation. Together we will consider the early church’s response to persecution and heresy, the formation of the Canon, the impact of Constantine’s conversion upon Christianity, the development of the papacy, the Crusades, the split between the Eastern and Western churches, and precursors to the Protestant Reformation.

MI301 Biblical Missions – 2 Credits -Required
Instructor~ Dave Kosobucki: Senior Pastor of Horizon Central, Indianapolis, IN.
This course will look at the biblical basis for missions in both the Old and New Testament, its history and various aspects, and how to prepare for a mission’s trip. Students will gain a greater appreciation for the importance of missions in the Bible and a better understanding of what has already taken place in the area of missions since Acts 1:8. They will also receive a clearer sense of what it takes to be a good missionary, whether short-term, long-term, or reaching out cross-culturally right here at home along with a higher level of preparedness for going on the CCBCi international mission’s trip in May.
MI101 3 Week International Mission Trip -Required
At the end of each school year in May our students are sent on three week international mission's trip to put to practice what they have learned through the year. In the last four years our students have traveled to Israel, Ukraine, Hawaii and Kyrgyzstan to serve with local missionary teams sharing the gospel and edifying the local body of Christ. Where will God send you and your class?

This course is a verse-by-verse study through the Book of Genesis. Special consideration will be given to the fundamental principals in the book, including creation of the universe, introduction of sin and the formation of Israel.

OT313 Numbers – 2 Credits -Emphasis
Instructor~ Tom Camp: Senior Pastor of Harvest Chapel in Lafayette IN.
This course is a study revealing God's instruction and preparation of His people to enter the Promised Land of Canaan. This book is referred to many times in the New Testament. The Holy Spirit called special attention to Numbers in 1 Cor. 10:1-12. The words "all these things happened to them for examples" is significant. God protected, preserved, and provided for these people until they possessed the land.
OT314 Deuteronomy – 2 Credits -Emphasis

The book of Deuteronomy is part of the Pentateuch study. In two years, each student will study through Genesis, Exodus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. This book contains predictions of “the prophet like Moses,” what Christ called “the great commandment,” and the words Christ quoted to the Tempter. Also known as the “Second Law,” students will see Israel’s wilderness wanderings over; on the eve of the entrance of Canaan, these laws were rehearsed and expounded, in anticipation of their settled life in the land so promised by God.

This course is a verse-by-verse study through the book of Psalms. The objective is to show the students the beauty of the Hebrew poetry displayed in the psalms, and to see the different types of psalms in the Bible.
OT336 Daniel – 2 Credits -Emphasis

This verse-by-verse study will lead students to explore the historical context, fulfilled prophesies, as well as the end-time prophecies yet to be fulfilled, that Daniel received. Attention will also be given to the unique character of Daniel and his exceptional example of being a hopeless slave to a great government leader.
OT332 Isaiah – 2 Credits -Emphasis

Students will be challenged and strengthened in their faith through this study as Isaiah is The Messianic Prophet that we need to hear today who cries out God’s message of repentance in a time where empires were rising and falling with his nation in peril. But above all, we shall see the prophesies of our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s “Suffering Servant,” as He does the will of God and suffers and dies for the sins of the world.

NT354 Gospel of John – 2 Credits -Emphasis

The Gospel of John has a message for the humble disciple of the Lord and for the most advanced theologian that consists mainly of Jesus’ discourses and conversations. This course will be a verse-by-verse study on the things Jesus said rather than the things He did revealing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, so that life will come through faith in Him.
NT355 Acts – 3 Credits -Required

Power describes the Christians in the Book of Acts. How were they a dynamic people in a dynamic church and how did their words and actions change their world? Students will study verse-by-verse through this book examining the biblical model for both the church and evangelism. Emphasis will be on the early church, how it began, the struggles it had, the coming of the Holy Spirit, and how this applies to us in the church today.
NT365 Romans – 3 Credits -Required

This course will be a verse-by-verse study through the book of Romans. Considered to be the most systematic study of doctrine found in the Bible, this class will give students an understanding of the foundations of Christian theology.

This course is a verse-by-verse study through the Books of I & II Corinthians. Special emphasis will be on the problems Paul addressed to the church in Corinth, and how these same problems still exist in the church today.

This course will be a verse-by-verse study through I Timothy, II Timothy and Titus. How do we really live by faith and not by sight? When this book was written, the ages were colliding, society seemed to be shaken, the Christians of that day were wondering what was going on and what could they do about it. This course will study verse-by-verse through the seven New Testament epistles of James; 1 and 2 Peter; 1, 2, and 3 John; and Jude. Some people who claim to represent the truth are really peddlers of error. They deceive, mock, and defile, and “their mouth speaks great swelling words.” Who are these false teachers and how can you recognize them? This course will help you sharpen your spiritual discernment and challenge your personal walk as one to be authentic.
