Degree & Accreditation
CCBC Indianapolis offers three programs: Bachelor's of Biblical Studies, Associate's in Theology and the Certificate of Completion. Full requirements for these degrees can be met at CCBC Indianapolis and the degrees are then issued from the main campus in Murrieta CA.
1. Bachelor of Biblical Studies
The Bachelor of Biblical Studies is a two-year program for students who have completed at least two years of transferable general education. Students must take all the required courses and pass them with a grade of "C" or better, and must submit official transcripts which show the two years of general education. The B.B.S. consists of 60 semester credits of general education from an approved/accredited school, combined with 80 semester credits earned at CCBC.
2. Associate in Theology
The Associate in Theology is a two-year program intended for students who have completed high school or a G.E.D. program or its equivalent. Students must take all the required courses and pass them with a grade of "C" or better.
3. The Certificate of Completion
The Certificate of Completion program is a non-graded course of study intended for students who are not prepared for college level academics. Some of the students who choose this program are those with limited English, those who did not complete high school, those with learning disabilities,
or those for whom academics are extremely difficult. The spiritual training and discipleship in this program is identical to that of the Associate in Theology and the Bachelor in Biblical Studies,
however the students complete the courses on a Pass/Fail basis. Those in this program are graded according to their personal academic ability level with the hopes after graduation their academic ability has grown to the college level of learning. Each assignment given to the student is evaluated
by giving a Pass/Fail for that assignment and a final Pass/Fail grade at the end of the semester according to their ability level will be awarded. Students must receive a grade of "P" and a total of 80 credits to receive the
Certificate of Completion. All tuition prices are the same.
Accreditation
CCBC is a unique, unaccredited, independent, religious-exempt institution that offers a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies and an Associates Degree in Theology under the Bureau for Private Post Secondary and Vocational Education (School Code: 3602671). We are not accredited as such nor are we seeking accreditation, so as to remain free from outside control and remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We have discovered that accreditation agencies are governed by state mandates that would have significant control of our school's curriculum, administration and teachers. "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Cor. 6:14
We desire to continue in our independent standing so as not to compromise the integrity of the vision or direction the Lord has given to CCBC. We believe that the credibility of CCBC is not in accreditation, but in the fruitfulness and surrendered lives of the students who have attended. "Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others, epistles of commendation to you or letters of commendation from you? You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men." 2 Cor. 3:1-2
Because CCBC is known as a solid Bible teaching college, our credits are transferable to many Christian colleges around the country on the basis of the integrity of the Calvary Chapel Ministries and the history and reputation of its graduates and teachers. The following is a list of accredited institutions that have, in the past, accepted transfer credits from Calvary Chapel Bible College. They have reserved the right not to accept certain credits as they deem appropriate. If you have specific questions about transferbility of credits, call the Registar's Office of the institution you desire to attend.

Our Faith
CCBCi has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to division in the Body of Christ.
We believe the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ's (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship.
We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshiped.
We believe worship of God should be fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have been truly worshipping Him.
We believe in all the fundamental doctrines of orthodox evangelical Christianity.
We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
We believe that God is eternally existent in three separate persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God the Father is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things.
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the Cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us.
After Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today.
We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures, and that they are valid for today if they are exercised within the scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in love that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without this love, all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.
We believe that church government should be simplistic rather than a complex bureaucracy, and we depend on the Holy Spirit to lead, rather than on fleshly promotion.
We await the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and we believe that the second coming of Christ with His saints to rule on the earth will be personal, pre-millennial, and visible. This motivates us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of God's Word, regular fellowship, and participation in adult baptism by immersion, and Holy Communion.
We seek to teach the Word of God in such a way that its message can be applied to an individual's life, leading that person to greater maturity in Christ.
